We Kinda Ting ***Atlanta's Premier Carnival Band

We Kinda Ting, Inc. was established in 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia by a dynamic group of individuals from various Caribbean islands and the USA. Led by band president Sharon Ali Ridgill, the band has grown to be one of the largest and most spectacular bands of Atlanta Carnival. The band has won 1st place Band of the Year for seven years consecutively and other awards for Best Queen, Best King and Best Individual costume over the years. We Kinda Ting's goal is to promote Caribbean culture and art forms through community service, educational programs, and visual arts performances. We promote the rich cultural heritage of the Caribbean by demonstrating the unique craft of costume making for festivals and workshops. The workshops primarily focus on working with children that might not otherwise be exposed to the culture of the Caribbean region. The group has also held several workshops at its headquarters in Atlanta on costume design and construction. Come experience carnival with WE KINDA TING. Our masqueraders have the most fun!
