J's Kitchen Opens With Delicious Event

To unveil a one-of-a-kind concept, only a one-of-a-kind party will do! On October 27, J's Kitchen Culinary Incubator (JKCI) opened with a ribbon cutting and celebration like no other. After a blessing from pastor Mark Baker, Jonnetta Patton, flanked by consultant  

Waleed Shamsid-Deen, Dekalb County CEO Lee May, Doraville Mayor Donna Pittman, Commissioner Larry Johnson, Certified Master Chef Daryl Shular, Robert Patrick and M.D. Naser, cut a ceremonial ribbon and officially opened J's Kitchen.

 

Food sponsors of the evening were the first to use the 3,100 square-foot shared kitchen. They includedCertified Master Chef Daryl Shular, Atlanta Olive Oil Company, Tropical Delights, Chef Rob's Carribbean Cuisine, Chef Livinton Bedminster, Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse and many more. As guests had their fill of small plates, they toured the building. With full stomachs and smiles, the crowd danced to musical entertainment from Gritz & Jelly Butter and MC Lightfoot.

 

To top off the evening, Patton announced that she had named each of the five kitchen spaces after people and companies who played an instrumental role in helping her bring her dream of opening JKCI, to reality.  One of those kitchens is named, 'M-Squared,' after, guess who?  Yes, it's the gals of M-Squared Public Relations, who have been working behind the scenes to promote the opening.

 

All of the kitchens are equipped with state-of-the-art commercial appliances and chef-inspired features that make cooking and creating simpler.
