YULE BE SWINGIN' Presented by Gwinnett Symphony Musical Arts Consortium

November 30, 2016

YULE BE SWINGIN’ and we’ll be “Rockin’ the Halls” with the sounds of Christmas at 7:00 PM on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Infinite Energy Center Theater when Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra and Chorus under the direction of Mr. Rick Smith, and their Jazz Orchestra led by Dr. Jose Manuel Garcia perform a delightful and interactive Christmas concert sure to enchant everyone!  Children will experience especially memorable moments when they are conducting the orchestra and chorus on stage with SANTA to Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, and visiting with Santa after the concert, providing a great photo op for their parents. There are reports that Frosty and Rudolph will be making appearances during our concert, as well.

In addition to Sleigh Ride, other music selections include favorites like Believe, from Polar Express; God Bless Us Everyone, from Disney’s A Christmas Carol; The Christmas Song, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Jingle Bells, Breath of Heaven, and many more! Your family does not want to miss this very special Christmas event!

In keeping with the spirit of Christmas giving, especially to children, Gwinnett Symphony will contribute a portion of their proceeds from this concert to benefit the services provided to children by Atlanta Mission (see http://atlantamission.org).

Santa, Rudolph and Frosty will be in the theater gallery after the concert for visits by the children, providing their parents the opportunity to snap some quick photos. For this opportunity, love offerings for Atlanta Mission will be accepted and appreciated.
