The Fig Tree hosts annual charity breakfast on Saturday

This Saturday The Fig Tree Restaurant hosts its second annual charity pancake breakfast benefitting Assistance League of Charlotte.

From 9 a.m. to noon, stop by for breakfast and visit with Santa Claus, and you'll support Assistance League's Operation School Bell. The charity program provides clothing for children in need in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The cost for the event is a minimum donation of $10 for Assistance League, or a new winter coat for a child age five to 15.

Last year, the event raised nearly $2,500 for Assistance League. The Fig Tree Restaurant hopes to top that with this holiday season's installment!
