ICE Atlanta - Popup Shop Party

The ICE Atlanta pop up shop party lit up Atlanta on December 1st. The host location was in Candler Park. This pop up shop showcased over 50+ local and national artists. The Indie Craft Experience, also known as ICE, is the perfect way to start holiday shopping. From hand crafted trinkets to one of a kind paintings there was something for everyone.

Guests were greeted with a champagne flute decorated with cotton candy. Yum. Next, you're given a hand crafted cotton tote by Knoxville-based artist Kate Thurman of Smarty Pants Paper Co. The bag was too cute and festive enough for the season.

Red Brick Brewing Company was on hand. They were full of cheer while handing out chilled refreshments. Its always comforting to see them. They are a local favorite that never goes out of style.

I recognized quite a few brands while browsing. Little Barn Apothecary had a wall display equipped with a cooling mineral mist. Hmm...sounds interesting. I did not want to annoy the other hundred guests in the building so I did not test the scent. However I love coconut and this fragrance was coconut mint. I just knew that I would love it. And I do!

SongBird Glory was a new brand that I was unfamiliar with but intrigued by its display. This company make handcrafted jewelry. I found a pair of turquoise studs that I could not leave without.

It took me approximately 45 minutes to make my way through all the displays. I could tell that these artists poured their heart into their work. It shows. From gemstone jewelry to coloring books and cooking salts there was really so much to choose from.

The last section that I stopped at was for a company named Turnrow Bath Body & Home. They had an entire shelf of candles. Fragrances such as Havana, Pumpkin Spice and Balsam and Pine were available. The one that caught my attention was Gingerbread. What does this smell like? It smells like homemade gingerbread cookies. Oh my goodness. How is this possible? How could a soy candle smell absolutely positively delicious? Not sure but I grabbed the last one.

I haven't been to a pop up in some time but this one left a lasting impression. I've never seen such an array of artists displayed. Everything was unique. No two vendors were the same. Do yourself a favor and spend some time really looking at the items. The actual artists may be close to give further insight.
