Atlanta Winter BeerFest 2017

I had the pleasure of attending Atlanta Winter Beerfest on February 4th. Although I have been to other events under the Atlanta Beer Festivals umbrella, this was my first experience at this event. I was delighted to learn that it would be held at Atlantic Station. It was a perfect setting.

I did not realize that Atlantic Station had such a vast event space. It comfortably hosted countless breweries, endless vendors, food trucks, a heated entertainment tent and a photobus.

The souvenir cups are always stylish and easy to hold. They even had custom koozies on sale. My favorite breweries such as Sweetwater, Terrapin and Wild Heaven were all on display with their best.

Food trucks included, but not limited to, DBA BBQ, Meatballerz and my favorite pizza truck Dominic's NY Pizza. I had to stop by Dominic's for a gigantic cheese slice. I love the fact that he's always there in the trenches with his workers. The pizza is remniscent of back home.

DJ Qtip kept the crowds live as more and more flocked to the scene. Even though the temps had dropped it didn't stop people from entering the front gate. They were ready for booze, food and a great time.

The Spins are a local cover band that held down the other tent towards the back. They have 5 members and they enjoy jamming on stage together. I absolutely loved them. I even got video footage of their performance for my show.

The photobus was so cute. We waited in line for about 20 minutes but it was so worth it. Atlanta Beerfest events always have a photobooth. This time it was a photobus! They took a retro VW Bus and made it into a photobooth. Wow. Such an innovative idea! Props were provided as you stepped inside the bus for your big moment.

I Loved this event! The crowds continued as we made our exit. Atlanta Beer Festivals have figured out the perfect formula for the best adult festivals EVER!
