Shun Melson Debuts Spring Fashion Line

Shun Melson is the fashion visionary of this generation. Her eclectic sense of style is prevalent in her work. I have seen her fashion trends floating around Atlanta so there were high expectations. She did not disappoint.

My team and I were fortunate to attend the Shun Melson Fashun Takeover Fashion Show this past weekend in Buckhead. This trendsetting event took place at the luxurious Level V. It was my first time here and I was dazzled by the ambiance to say the least. I loved it! From the greenery themed sign to the staircase that led up to a superb showroom floor, this venue has a lot to offer.

This was a star studded event with no shortage of familiar faces. Kent Stetson, Goo Goo Atkins, Kandi Buress and countless others were all in attendance. Where there are good vibes DJ Reece is usually in the vicinity. She is one of the most talented DJs I've ever witnessed. She knows every audience and caters to their needs. DJ Reece is not to be played with.

I was most impressed with the versatility of this spring line. The colors and patterns were amazing. She even incorporated bunny ears. The clothing sizes range from size 2-24. I was thrilled to see a size 4 model and a size 24 model work that runway in the same styled clothes.

These ladies were not amateurs. Shun Melson took time to groom each model to make sure they would represent her brand to the fullest while strutting the catwalk. The crowd absolutely went wild as the boss lady (Shun Melson) and her right hand woman Nedra closed out the show to Bad and Bougee.

At the close, Shun shared some of her tumultuous story. Watching this beautiful queen talk about how she wasn't always fabulous showed her humility. She has not forgotten where she's come from and I know she's got some more places to go. I salute you Shun Melson on a magnificent show.
