Atlanta Dream fall short to Chicago Sky at Home

This was my first time attending a WNBA game. Wow. These are some of the hardest working women that I've ever watched in sports. Although their male counterparts get a lot of attention, these ladies definitely grind hard on the court.

The crowds were excited to watch the Atlanta Dream take on the Chicago Sky. With their first 2-0 start since the 2014 season, the winning streak looked promising. Tiffany Hayes could not be stopped. That 3 point shot she perfectly executed in the 1st quarter pushed a surge of energy through the crowd. Bria Holmes was a big contributor today as well. Elizabeth Williams had a game high of 13 rebounds. Layshia Clarendon successfully net 17 points in this game. Damitris Dantas kept the crowds engaged as she scored 12 points in this close game.

Unfortunately, the team lost some of their early momentum. By the second half Chicago had gained the upper hand in the lead. Atlanta was distracted and it seemed to sour the team's morale. As the saying goes, you have to keep your head in the game. The game was far from over and they even scored in the last few seconds of the game. Ultimately it was too late. Chicago Sky would take this win from our Atlanta Dream.

I will say that watching this game riveting! They work hard and as a team. I cannot wait until the next one!!
