In 2014 Brian Gerrard co-founded Bae, a social/dating app and as CEO grew it to a top 50 app in 20 countries. His team was acquired by if(we) (one of the largest social consumer app companies in the world) last year and Brian joined the company to lead Product Growth and Innovation. In his first 6 months at if(we), he built out the company’s marketing practice and launched 2 new products, adding over a million new users. If(we) was acquired by The Meet Group NASDAQ:MEET for 60Mil in April 2017. Brian currently leads Product Marketing there.

Brian’s recent accolades include 2016 BET Black History Maker, 2015 Black Enterprise BE Modern Man and a 2015 TechStars Rising Star. He has appeared in publications such as TIME, TechCrunch, Inc. Mag, and Fast Co. and has spoken at F8 (Facebook’s annual conference), The United Nations, Yale University and Google.

Originally from New Jersey, Brian graduated from The University of Virginia with distinction and honors and is a Teach for America alum.
