Broadway in Atlanta vice president brings charitable opportunity to organization and ticketholders

Vice president of Broadway in Atlanta, Russ Belin, has been appointed to the board of directors for Most Valuable Kids (MVK), a nonprofit organization that distributes unused event tickets to underserved kids in metropolitan areas.

“Serving on the board of directors for Most Valuable Kids is another way to allow us to provide tickets to underprivileged children,” said Belin. “This also sheds light on a great opportunity for our patrons to donate tickets – which will certainly deliver a source of inspiration to the youth in our community.”

Through this collaboration, Broadway in Atlanta will donate tickets to MVK for age-appropriate shows throughout the season, and the organization has committed to a minimum donation valued at $12,500. This partnership also provides Broadway in Atlanta season ticketholders the chance to easily donate their unused tickets online to children in the area who would otherwise be unable to see the shows.

Donated tickets will be distributed to boys and girls, 18 and under, through MVK’s numerous organizations that focus on children in low-income and underserved households, as well as to their chaperones, mentors and volunteers.

A veteran in the entertainment field, Belin has more than 20 years of experience in entertainment sales and marketing, previously serving as regional vice president of Feld Entertainment. He oversees all aspects of the Broadway in Atlanta series at the Fox Theatre, bringing the best Broadway musicals directly from New York to Peachtree Street.

Belin earned a bachelor's degree from Towson University, where he studied sports management. He and his wife, Kelly, reside in Peachtree Corners with their two sons.
