More than 130 Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Restaurants Unite in “Appetite for a Cure” Campaign to Help Save Lives

In honor of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen Restaurants kick-off of the 14th annual "Appetite for a Cure"campaign to raise funds for kids and adults fighting muscular dystrophy, I'd like to introduce you to Austin Hertz, an 11 year old living with muscular dystrophy. Austin, from Sanford, Florida, attended the 14th annual "Appetite for a Cure" campaign kick-off in Orlando, Florida to thank Sailormen, Inc., employees and customers for their help in sending him to MDA Summer Camp year after year. In addition to attending Summer Camp, Austin loves to play piano and spend time with his family. Austin's mom, Amy, currently runs her own dental practice, is raising four children and is pursuing continuing education to one day become a muscular dystrophy researcher.

The Hertz family is a great example of MDA families who are impacted by the generous support of partners like Sailormen, Inc. Please let me know if you are interested in connecting with Amy and Austin Hertz to find out more about their support of "Appetite for a Cure" and the impact the campaign has for families like theirs. I'd be happy to connect you to them!
