New ‘Georgia Darling’ White Wine Now Available

Atlanta, Georgia (July 25, 2018) - Wine lovers can raise a glass to City Winery’s newest wine, Georgia Darling, which debuted this month. Ideal for Georgia summers, this intensely aromatic, medium-bodied white wine consists of 100% Georgia-grown Vidal, Viognier, and chardonnay. A dry Georgia blend with notes of ripe citrus and tropical fruit that leap from the glass, Georgia Darling was named by a local in City Winery’s “Name Our Vino” contest. “I think Georgia really has a lot to say as far as the quality of wine it can produce. The Georgia Darling name captured that spirit,” says Atlanta’s only winemaker, Travis Green.” “We’re excited to have more offerings that are truly Georgia-grown and produced from start to finish.” The winner, Tina Tolen, received a table and a dinner for four at a City Winery concert, as well as a magnum bottle (1.5L) of Georgia Darling for her creativity.
