On Saturday, October 13th, City Winery is partnering with Down Home Brewing for an afternoon of fun on the urban winery’s expansive outdoor patio to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the brewery.
While the Atlanta leaves are falling, craft beers lovers can enjoy frosty brews from Atlanta's first African-American-owned brewing company, Down Home Brewing. Brewmaster and Founder Chris Reeves will be on site pouring glasses of his handcrafted Georgia Hooch IPA (6.8% ABV) and T-Pom Pomegranate Wheat Ale (6.3% ABV). Executive Chef Nick Anderson will also be firing up the Big Green Egg serving his spin on Southern classics like Barbecue Brisket Sandwiches, Beer Can Chicken, Potato Salad, House-made coleslaw and potato chips.
The party, along with a live music performance, kicks off at 12 p.m. and tickets are $30, plus applicable fees and are available for purchase here or at www.citywinery.com/atlanta. For more information on Down Home Brewing, visit www.downhomebrewingcompany.com/.

ABOUT CITY WINERY
City Winery is the brainchild of Michael Dorf, founder of the iconic Knitting Factory, one of New York’s longest-running music venues. Since then, he has opened locations in Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, and now, Boston. City Winery strives to deliver the highest-end combined culinary and cultural experience to its customers who are passionate in sharing wine, music, and culinary arts in a unique facility that combines a fully-functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events, and fine dining.
City Winery provides residents of a busy urban environment the wine country experience in the middle of the city. Patrons can experience a compelling mix of chef-driven cuisine and unique, house-made wines by the glass or bottle while listening to some of the most exciting musical talent in the country.
