Celebrate Valentine’s Day with A Special Date Night Lantern Tour

Romance at Ruby invites couples to experience a love story from the beginning

CHATTANOOGA (January 30, 2019) Hidden within the 2,388-foot summit of Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls offers an adventurous twist on Valentine’s Day and the season of love. Romance at Ruby, an after-hours date night running select nights February 9-17, 2019, celebrates the romantic love story at the heart of Ruby Falls’ history and the allure of exploration.

Stroll along the Ruby Falls Cavern trail with only the soft glow of hand-held lanterns to light the way while an expert guide shares tales of local legendary romances including the love story leading to the discovery and naming of Ruby Falls. Reservations are limited to only 12 couples per small group tour, ensuring guests have extra time to witness the beauty of the waterfall and ancient stone formations.

“Love played a major role in our history, making Romance at Ruby a very special event for us,” says Hollie Baranick, Tours and Special Projects Manager. “The romance of the waterfall and an epic love story combined with the relaxed pace of the tour make for an unforgettable way to spend time together.”

Reservations are required for this event and can be made online by selecting a tour beginning between 9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Tickets are $69.95 per couple.
