10th Annual King of the Wing Festival in the USVI

The Virgin Island’s most anticipated culinary event enters its 10th year with all proceeds benefiting local charity and while uplifting the community after devastating Hurricane Irma and Maria

St. Thomas, USVI - Dreaming of your next summer getaway in paradise? Attend the 10th annual King of the Wing (KOW) festival taking place from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 on the dreamy shores of Magens Bay beach in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Be among the thousands of attendees tasting mouthwatering chicken wings cooked by teams consisting of the top local restaurants and chicken wing connoisseurs that will set up their grills right on the beach to claim the coveted “King of the Wing” title!

On the stage, internationally renowned beatboxers, KRNFX and Taylor McFerrin, DJ JSmoke, DJ Dhundee and a surprise celebrity guest will keep the energy and appetites up with their signature blend of party jams. Event sponsors Coors Light and Captain Morgan distributed by Bellows International will provide support and beverages.

In addition to being the island’s most celebrated and anticipated family-friendly culinary and community event, KOW has grown every year in attendance and number of competitors, and serves as a crucial fundraising platform for local charities. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Junior Achievement VI, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in the global economy.

Presented by Alpine Securities and White Bay Group, KOW will also feature local high school students competing for the best vocal performance on the island.
