Murphy’s Helps Diners Savor Delicious Meals From the Comfort of Home

The Virginia-Highland Eatery Creates All-Day To-Go Menu for Pick-up and Curbside Service

WHAT:

Meeting diner needs is executive chef Andy Tran’s top priority. He and his team at Murphy’s have created a new all-day menu to satisfy the need for delicious meals to enjoy from the comfort of home. The menu is available from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily and breakfast items, small plates, entrees and desserts including:

  • Grilled artichokes with sweet lemon aioli ($11)

  • Chef’s selection of charcuterie and cheese ($15)

  • Murphy’s Caesar salad with crispy onions and croutons ($8; add chicken for $5; add salmon or shrimp for $9)

  • Linda’s omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onions and cheddar with fries ($12)

  • Brisket sandwich with Swiss, balsamic onions, arugula and horseradish with fries ($13)

  • Murphy’s burger with avocado mayo, Swiss, bacon, arugula, tomato and pickles on a brioche bun with fries ($13)

  • Atlantic salmon with spinach, root vegetables and dashi ($20)

  • Roasted half chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans and jus ($20)

  • Key lime pie ($7)

Guests can place orders for takeout and curbside pickup by calling 404-872-0904. This menu also is available for delivery via Zifty.com and DoorDash.

Tran also has turned his once-a-week Sunday to-go dinners into a daily option. With just 30-minutes notice, guests can enjoy the following family dinners for four:

  • Roast chicken ($40)

  • Roast turkey breast ($40)

  • Guinness-braised brisket ($45)

  • Meatloaf with marinara ($40)

Each meal includes a green salad, green beans, roasted potatoes and cookies. An order of macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes or extra green beans can be added for an additional $8. Guests can call ahead or order online for pick-up between 4-7 p.m. and for delivery via Zifty.com during the same time frame.

For St. Patrick’s Day, Tran has put together a special dinner offering for families with choice of Atlantic salmon Fillet with lemon mustard butter, Guinness-braised lamb stew or thick-sliced corned beef for $45. Each is served with colcannon potatoes with leeks and cabbage, garlic green beans, mixed green salad with apple cider vinaigrette, soda bread and cookies.

Guests can top off their meals with a selection from Murphy’s Wine Store. Orders for bottles of wine can be placed online or by calling the restaurant for pick-up or curbside service.

Additionally, Murphy’s is now featuring a $20 bonus for every $100 spent on gift cards at the restaurant. Murphy’s has served the Atlanta community for 40 years and takes the potential impact of COVID-19 very seriously. The restaurant is working to protect guests and employees and already follows strict local public health guidelines and is taking extra precautions. Murphy’s owner Tom Murphy is staying in contact with local health officials for the latest advisories, as well as following guidance from ServSafe and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Social distancing is important at this time, and Murphy’s is taking all precautions while still offering its guests the value, consistency and quality they’ve come to expect with to-go lunches and dinners. Guests are encouraged to reach out with questions or concerns.
