His quirky persona, coupled with his uncanny ability to spit tongue-twisting lyrics at light-speed, earned him millions of YouTube hits and an invitation to perform on the Ellen show. After Watsky independently produced a self-titled album in 2009, both his 2013 album Cardboard Castles and his recent 2014 offering All You Can Do reached #1 on the iTunes hip hop charts, with the former peaking at #6 overall and the latter reaching #5. Watsky, performing with his live band Creme Fraiche, puts on a dynamic live performance that has earned him festival slots at San Francisco’s Outside Lands, Bumbershoot in Seattle, Rock the Bells, the Wireless Festival in London, and the 2014 Van’s Warped Tour, among many other stops in a young career that has already tallied nearly a thousand shows. Witt Lowry Mark Richard, Jr. aka Witt Lowry has always loved writing. Growing up in Connecticut, he would spend countless hours in his room filling up journals with thoughts and expressions, and during high school he took every English and writing class the school had to offer. Eventually Witt transitioned from writing stories and poems to writing music. This is when he truly found his passion. After releasing his mixtape "Kindest Regards" in November 2013, he began releasing a series of singles which garnered a massive amount of attention throughout the music community. It was at this point that Witt made a life changing decision; the graphic design world would not be able to solely contain his creative talents, and he decided to pursue music full time. Witt is known for working on a song until he believes it is perfect, much preferring to create quality masterpieces over a quantitative ‘freestyles’ or 'throwaway' songs. Witt’s dedication to perfection, high energy and honest brand of hip hop has amassed a battalion of fans across multiple countries and continents, who are dedicated to spreading his music to anyone that will listen. His most recent project "Dreaming With Our Eyes Open" released to the public Fall of 2015 and reached #23 overall on iTunes and #5 on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart, and also earned the #24 Spot on Billboard's R&B & Hip Hop Chart and #5 spot on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart. Following the success of the project, Witt took to the road on his first headlining tour throughout the Northeast. He continues to gain traction with every release and this is only the beginning of his movement. Dye Jack While old folks lament the younger generation's disappearing attention span, 19-year-old Daye Jack is busy creating album-length experiences that overflow with vibrant soul and acute focus. If Daye Jack's independently released Hello World is his broad introduction, then his forthcoming Soul Glitch further explores the depth and nuances of an artist beyond his years. Due June 30th on Warner Brother Records, Soul Glitch is a soulful showcase of the songwriter's sage wisdom and remarkable versatility. Be it snarling raps or soaring melodies, the hip-hop vocalist continually finds new ways to express his exploration of both the world's oldest truths and its newest technologies. Pronounced dah-yay, Daye Jack was born in Nigeria before moving to Atlanta at the age of six. He credits the slow, soulful vibe of Atlanta's suburban sprawl for the genesis of his sound, but also fled its boundaries the minute he was of age. Daye's father, who spent his own formative years in San Francisco, always counseled his son to escape Georgia. New York City became the destination — by way of Computer Science studies at NYU — and blossomed into an inspiration for Daye's music.
