ATLANTA HAWKS ISSUE LIMITED RELEASE OF INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS FOR 2016-17 HOME CONTESTS
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club today released a limited amount of single-game tickets for the 2016-17 campaign, including seats for the season-opening contest against their Southeast Division rival, the Washington Wizards, on Thursday, Oct. 27. Tickets for games through Jan. 21 are available for purchase now with no ticketing fees by visiting www.hawks.com/tickets or calling 866-715-1500.
Seats for the first 21 home contests of the season are now available, including several tilts against Western Conference clubs making their only regular-season visits to Atlanta: the Los Angeles Lakers (Nov. 2); Houston Rockets (Nov. 5); Oklahoma City Thunder (Dec. 5); Minnesota Timberwolves (Dec. 21); and a New Year’s Day game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Also available for purchase today are seats in Philips Arena for contests against the new-look Chicago Bulls (Nov. 9 and Jan. 20) and New York Knicks (Dec. 28). On Friday, Jan. 13, the Hawks welcome the Boston Celtics to town for a rematch of the pair’s 2016 first-round playoff series, won by Atlanta in six games.
Home preseason tickets are also available for purchase now. The Hawks host the Cleveland Cavaliers (Oct. 10), Detroit Pistons (Oct. 13) and New Orleans Pelicans (Oct. 18) at Philips Arena. All Monday-through-Thursday home games this season will feature 7:30 p.m. tip times, with Friday games beginning at 8 p.m. and varying times for weekend contests.
New this year, the Hawks have introduced Season PASS, a limited-time ticket offer for tech-savvy and cost-conscious fans who want guaranteed access into 38-of-41 regular season home games. Fans who purchase this product will use the Hawks’ mobile app to redeem tickets at the arena, and will be notified of their seat location up to 15 minutes prior to tipoff. The plan is available until Oct. 27, and can be purchased now at www.hawks.com/hawkspass with the promo code “SEASONPASS” for six monthly payments of $67 or a one-time payment of $399.
