Breaking Barriers Exhibit at Philips Arena
I had the pleasure of attending the preview of the Breaking Barriers: Sports for Change Exhibit at Philips Arena. I cannot describe the array of emotions that I experienced while at the exhibit. It really brought to light a lot of the athletes that have had a major contribution to society. The exhibit includes audio bytes from Muhammad Ali, a wall dedicated to athletes that stood up for the LBGT community and so much more. This project will definitely evoke emotion & remind us of those that stood for what was right. I don't want to give away all the highlights, because there were so many, but this is an eye opening presentation for the whole family. If by chance you miss it, there will be an opportunity to see it on display at the National Center for Civil & Human Rights.
