ABOUT THE FARMER FUND

An Atlanta nonprofit founded last year to serve Metro Atlanta farmers in the face of natural disaster, such as flooding or tornados. They help local farmers get back on their feet by providing grants through donations and fundraising. Darla Millstein (Director of Catering and Events at Farm Burger) and Lauren Carey (Executive Director of Peachtree Road Farmers Market) founded the nonprofit to serve the farmers that feed Atlanta’s families. Each year they host a fundraiser to reveal their annual calendar, a much-anticipated souvenir with photos of Atlanta's top chefs in nothing but aprons with the farmers who grow their food.
