Celebrate the season with Gwinnett Ballet Theatre's 35th Anniversary performance of THE NUTCRACKER. A Gwinnett County holiday tradition brought to life by the artists of Gwinnett Ballet Theatre accompanied by the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre Orchestra. A classic version of the original Tchaikovsky ballet, Gwinnett Ballet presents the tale of a young girl's Christmas dream come true! Magical lights, sounds, and dance will delight audiences of all ages.

SCHOOL AND SENSORY FRIENDLY PERFORMANCES:
Gwinnett Ballet Theatre's 35th Anniversary performance of The Nutcracker is the perfect introduction to live theatre, dance and classical music. GBT presents Tchaikovsky's classic ballet in a Victorian setting full of merriment, holiday traditions and sugarplums. The School and Sensory Friendly performances are slightly shorter at 1 hour and 15 mins, and are perfect for children of all ages!
GBT is proud to offer two Sensory Friendly performances, December 2 & 9 at 11:45 am, for our audience members with Autism, Brain Injury, anyone with differing abilities for whom a traditional theater setting is not comfortable is invited to enjoy this amazing show! The Sensory Friendly performances allow the audience to move about the auditorium and lobby freely throughout the show and the house lights remain up so that everyone can see. Sound levels are kept at a comfortable level and all flashes or startling sound effects are omitted for the audiences comfort. GBT also encourages our Sensory Friendly audience to cheer with "happy hands" to show their support for the dancers and each other.
