Casual pizza restaurant adds a free Classic Cheese Pizza to orders of any pie from its menu Wednesda

This news hot out of the Marra Forni oven: Genuine Pizza at Phipps Plaza has a new offer for hungry families needing a break from the monotony of the workweek. Beginning April 25, parties of two or more guests who dine on Wednesdays after 6 p.m. can enjoy a free Classic Cheese pizza with purchase of one or more pizzas from the restaurant’s menu.

The popular casual pizza restaurant from James Beard Award winning-chef Michael Schwartz opened at Phipps Plaza earlier this year and serves 11 hand-formed pies with creative topping combinations and honest ingredients, as well as snacks, soups, salads, entrées and desserts, with a list of approachable wines and many Atlanta craft beers to complement its food.

Signature items include Short Rib Pizza; Polenta Fries with spicy ketchup; Warm Brussels Sprouts and Burrata; and the famous Chocolate Chunk Cookie, warmed in the oven to order. Diners who take advantage of the Wednesday Family Night deal can also enjoy the restaurant’s new signature pizza, Spicy Pepperoni, featuring tomato sauce, Calabrian chili oil, fontina, mozzarella and arugula.

Genuine Pizza is family-friendly and can seat 64 inside, including seven seats at the counter and six at the pizza bar. Outdoor dining for 36 is available weather permitting.
