Holiday Gatherings with Mionetto Prosecco

With the holidays coming up, it’s a good idea to keep certain things in the house. Finger foods like cheese, bread and veggies are all good for entertaining. It was my turn to host our annual Friendsgiving celebration. I was gonna wow my gal pals with a few recipes that I’ve been dying to create. All great events start with amazing cocktails.

Lucky for the group, I had Mionetto Prosecco to start off festivities. I found some easy cocktail recipes on their website www.MionettoProseccoUSA.com. Not only were these drinks easy to make but they involved only a few ingredients that I already had. I welcomed each guest with a chilling glass of Cucumber Refresco. See recipe below:

Cucumber Refresco

Ingredients

- 4-5 cucumber slices

- .75 oz fresh lime juice

- 1 oz agave nectar

- 2 oz Mionetto Prestige Organic Prosecco DOC Extra Dry

- cucumber slice for Garnish

Preparation

1. In a mixing glass, add cucumber slices and lime juice.

2. Muddle.

3. Add agave nectar and ice.

4. Shake and strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.

5. Top with Mionetto Prosecco.

6. Garnish with cucumber slice.

I received so many compliments on the drink. People talked about how crisp it tasted. It wasn’t what anyone was expecting. Someone even hinted that I should consider another career as a bartender. But I wasn’t done there. As appetizers made their appearance, there was one more surprise for my friends. The Paloma Royale. This was another recipe that I found on their website.

Paloma Royale

Ingredients

- .5 oz simple syrup

- .5 oz fresh lime juice

- 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice

- 1.5 oz reposado tequila

- 2 oz Mionetto Prestige Gran Rosé

- lime wedge for Garnish

Preparation

1. In a mixing glass, add simple syrup, fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice and tequila.

2. Add ice.

3. Shake contents.

4. Strain into a highball over fresh ice.

5. Top with Mionetto Gran Rosé.

6. Garnish with lime wedge.
