City Winery Announces Wine & Rhymes in The Den

An Evening of Poetry and Spoken Word Begins April 2nd

City Winery announces a new series of poetry and spoken word at the Ponce City Market urban winery, intimate music venue, restaurant, bar, and private event space. On the first Thursday of each month from 7:30-9:30 p.m., Atlantans will enjoy an exciting evening with "Wine & Rhymes in The Den". The monthly series kicks off on April 2nd with host Royce Hall. Royce is an Atlanta-based recording artist, performance poet, author, actor, MC, composer, activist, and more. Wine & Rhymes in The Den features a rotation of Atlanta's finest spoken word performers. In April, performers include def poet Abyss, poet Lacey Green, vocalist Antoine Jacquard, and lyricist November. The Den, located adjacent to City Winery's Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar, features a fireplace and a casual, cozy atmosphere, where guests can indulge with a drink or order a dish from the full menu.
