The Buckhead Eatery Has Already Provided More Than 500 Meals and is Continuing to Expand

ATLANTA: Millions of people across the globe have been affected by the international pandemic caused by the spread of COVID-19. This crisis has had a devastating effect on business, resulting in widespread unemployment. For Atlantans who have lost jobs, Mission + Market is here to take one thing off their plate – the stress of not knowing where their next meal will come from. Each Thursday, the restaurant will provide a meal and beverage to all people who have lost their jobs. “In only 3 weeks’ time, we’ve had the privilege to provide more than 500 meals to our community that have found themselves jobless due to this unimaginable virus,” said Executive Chef Ian Winslade. “We hope to be able to continue to grow this program, providing as much and as often as we can.” To offer the free meal program, Mission + Market secured initial sponsorship and is looking for corporate underwriting to help continue it for the foreseeable future. Each week, there will be options available to choose from such as fish, chicken, beef or vegetarian.
