Cardi B receives over 200,000 follower boost following Offset cheating rumors

New data analysis has revealed that Cardi B, who recently announced that she’s been “single for a minute now”, received a surge of 237,386 followers on Instagram since December 10th.  

VegasGems.com used Social Blade to analyze Cardi B’s Instagram following (@iamcardib) since December 10th. This significant increase follows a now-deleted tweet by Blueface, in which he accused his ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock of being intimate with Offset. Both Offset and Chrisean have denied this allegation in their own tweets. 

On December 11th, Cardi confirmed that she is single on an Instagram Live: “I’ve been single for a minute now, but I have been afraid to like — not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world,” she said. “I want to start 2024, like, fresh, open. I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited.” 

Fans were already suspecting that the married pair had split after noticing that Cardi B and Offset had unfollowed each other on Instagram, as well as Cardi’s Instagram Stories in which she wrote, “You know when you grow out of relationships” and “I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings...I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”. 

In contrast, analysis of Offset’s Instagram followers (@offsetyrn) shows an increase of just 10,136 followers since December 10th. This stark difference in follower boosts suggests that Cardi is receiving more support than her husband following Blueface’s cheating accusations. 

A spokesperson from VegasGems.com commented on these findings: “Although fans of Cardi B had already suspected that her relationship with Offset had ended, it is interesting to analyze her follower count after her official announcement. Fans may be following in support of the rapper, especially after Offset’s denied cheating allegations.”
