Holy Culture Radio Temporarily Takes Over Pandora’s Christian Hip-Hop Station
SiriusXM Channel 154, Holy Culture Radio, is taking over the airwaves on Pandora’s Christian hip-hop station (https://www.pandora.com/genre/christian-hip-hop) to expose a whole new audience to HCR’s diverse programming. The takeover lasts from February 17 through March 10.
“During that time, the Holy Culture Radio takeover mode will live on Pandora’s Christian hip-hop station, familiarizing Pandora listeners with a taste of what happens on HCR,” explained James Rosseau Sr., the man behind HCR’s bold move to a 24-hour satellite station. “Our award-winning and celebrated hosts will provide song introductions and insights, and share their own Christian hip-hop stories.”
Listeners can find the takeover by visiting https://www.pandora.com/genre/christian-hip-hop, and the takeover button will be visible on the station page.
“We’re always excited to partner and collaborate with our colleagues at SiriusXM,” said Melissa Chalos, associate director of gospel/Christian at Pandora. “James ‘Trig’ Rosseau at Holy Culture Radio is an expert on Christian hip-hop’s history, import and cultural relevance. What he’s doing at SXM Channel 154 is impressive, and we wanted Pandora’s faith-informed hip-hop listeners to benefit from his experience, artistry and insight into the genre. That’s what the takeover is all about.”
Holy Culture Radio is a full-time edutainment channel with diverse programming that includes:
- DJ Wade-O’s nightly Top 10 countdown.
- The Stellar Award and Kingdom Choice Award winner Da Fixx Morning Radio show.
- Old School Sounds, hosted by DJ D-Lite, takes listeners back to the genre’s beginnings.
- The Underground Gospel Hip-Hop Show, where Jay Williams helps to launch indie faith-based artists, personifying the notion of having a great time while inspiring listeners with meaningful messages.

- Church on the Block, where Pastor Phil Jackson, Pastah J and DJ Ruckus engage in all-encompassing discussions and theological breakdowns of hip-hop and street culture and how the church can deliver hope. … and many more.
Holy Culture Radio and its affiliated website www.HolyCulture.net and social media channels are owned and operated by The Corelink Solution, a nonprofit founded by James Rosseau with the purpose of helping people develop their passion and purpose, create an informed plan and use provided tools to help them succeed, while establishing accountability and ownership.
“There has always been a question of whether there is a market for Christian hip-hop music,” Rosseau said. “I believe our 5 million subscribers have shown that the genre has broad viability given the above average listener engagement we’ve seen across our 14 shows and music mixes as we play a wide diversity of Christian hip-hop artists.”
