In honor of Peruvian Independence Day, Tio Lucho’s invites guests to spend the weekend enjoying the sounds, spirit, and soul of Peru. On Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, the Poncey-Highland restaurant will host two full days of programming featuring chef-led tastings, fire-grilled skewers, happy hour specials, brunch favorites, cocktails, and a live DJ on the patio.
The celebration begins with a special Ceviche Session on Saturday afternoon—an intimate, guided tasting featuring three courses, a live tiradito demo, and a glass of chilled wine, all served outside in a relaxed setting. Tickets are limited and available now at www.tioluchos.com.
Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy Anticucho Happy Hour from 4 to 7 p.m., featuring Peruvian-style skewers cooked over the Big Green Egg and served with housemade parrillera salsa. Skewer options include beef sirloin, chicken thigh, and beef heart, with $10 cocktails to match.
Tio Lucho’s will also offer lunch, brunch, and dinner specials both days, including well-loved staples and a few one-day-only dishes that pay tribute to the diversity and tradition of Peruvian cooking. Sunday brunch runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with options like Ceviche Carretillero, the Lomo Croque Señor, and fresh Peruvian coffee.
To round out the experience, DJ Franklin will be spinning a mix of Peruvian Cumbia and tropical rhythms on Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m., setting the tone for the celebratory weekend.
Tio Lucho’s is located at 675 N. Highland Ave. NE #6000, Atlanta, GA 30306. For reservations or more information, call (404) 343-0278 or visit www.tioluchos.com. Stay connected on Instagram and Facebook @tioluchos.
