Natt Taylor Bio:
Born in Irvington, NJ, Natt Taylor has always been a creative. Though she learned to sew in high school and created looks for friends during college, it wasn't until after graduating that she decided to finally pursue her dream career as a designer.
With a degree in Accounting from Morris Brown College and a brand new career in corporate America, Taylor relinquished her corporate ties after two years to embark on the entrepreneurial path that has proven to be her calling. Natt Taylor's fashion endeavors immediately catapulted into a successful career as she began receiving a host of client requests for custom wedding and prom attire.
To keep up with her booming clientele, she moved back to New Jersey to gain immediate access to New York City. In December 2004, a chance encounter with R&B vocalist Keyshia Cole led to a stint as a celebrity stylist. This relationship helped garner national exposure for Taylor's designs.
Within months Taylor officially launched DESTINI, now NATT TAYLOR COLLECTIONS, and sold to her first store, Envy Boutique. Her signature high waist pant with bow sold out in less than a week and remained a top seller for more than two years.
Now an Atlanta-resident, Taylor celebrates 11 years of success as a fashion trailblazer. Her designs remain both local and national front runners and have appeared on runways, department stores, boutiques, red carpets and celebs alike. Taylor has worked with Sprite, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Ford Lincoln Motors, TVOne, and BET Networks. She has appeard on the runways during New York Fashion Week, Harlem’s Fashion Row, Ragrade Atlanta, Charlotte Fashion Week, BET on Fashion and many more.
Her collections and personal story have appeared in numerous magazine, television, and online outlets. Most recently Natt Taylor has graced national department stores such as Macy’s and Belk. She was a 2015 winner of the Belk Southern Designer Competition.
In 2017, Taylor expanded her brand by venturing into her second passion-- music. An emerging vocalist, she travels the country performing at corporate and social events. She debuted her solo career at her signature event, Slay the Bells Christmas Concert that featured soulful Christmas classics performed by Taylor and her designer counterparts. She was also a featured vocalist at Atlanta’s City Winery where she performed covers of R&B favorites.
Fashion, music, and entertainment are the connecting thread for Taylor. She plans to continue pursuing her passions raising the bar in her industries.
