404 Vodka Receiving a Warm Southern Welcome
Georgia has spoken, and spoken clearly.
It is ready for its own craft spirit.
404 has been spreading rapidly throughout Atlanta and the state, and now appears in hundreds of retail outlets and liquor stores and an increasing amount of restaurants and bars, across Savannah, Augusta, Athens, Columbus, Roswell and beyond.
The small-batch vodka is six times distilled for an ultra-smooth taste, and hand-bottled by artisan spirit masters in the greater Atlanta area—Dalton, to be specific, in what was historically part of 404 area code.
The velvet texture and clean flavor work wonderfully in vodka martinis and Bloody Marys, or on the rocks with a lime twist.
The foil tree on the label is Georgia’s own Southern live oak.
Atlanta resident and longtime beverage producer Jeff Moses developed the vodka with local distillers after falling for the community’s hometown pride and welcoming spirit.
“We created a brand that honors the hospitality—and flavor—of Atlanta,” says Moses. ”And we wanted to offer an ultra-premium vodka at an affordable price.”
Georgia native and Hall of Fame slugger Frank Thomas is a partner in the project, blending his loyalty to the state with his love of authentic nightlife.
