Globetrotter stars surprise 5-year-old fan at Atlanta Ronald McDonald House

As the Harlem Globetrotters prepare for games in Atlanta this weekend, stars of the team Jet Rivers and Champ Thompson surprised a 5-year-old girl named Kendyl at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House. Despite suffering a stroke this past summer during open heart surgery, Kendyl loves doing basketball tricks and is one of the Globetrotters’ biggest fans.

More information:

Although she has limited use of her left side, that had zero effect on Kendyl’s amazing basketball skills. The Globetrotters granted Kendyl’s wish to see the team play live by providing her with tickets to Saturday’s game at State Farm Arena and her own Globetrotters jersey.

The Globetrotters are bringing their Fan Powered Tour to the Atlanta area for three games over the MLK Weekend. They will play two games at State Farm Arena on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Plus, one in Duluth at the Infinite Energy Center Sunday, at 7:30 p.m. For tickets go to https://www.harlemglobetrotters.com/.
