B-day Reset at Heal Thyself Atlanta

To be fortunate enough to celebrate a birthday is one thing. To enter a brand new consciousness is another. I’ve been blessed with both this year. As April being my birthday month, I’m reminded about self care. I have a bad habit of working myself to the bone without a break in sight. I’m happy to say chapter 36 was started off on the right foot.

For my special day I decided to visit Heal Thyself Atlanta. This is a wellness center offering detox, colon hydrotherapy, massage, organic facial, foot detox and amethyst biomat. This brand offers a holistic approach to overall wellbeing. The ambiance upon entering is pure tranquility. The high ceilings and relaxation music really set the tone.

It has been some time since I’ve had a colonic. It’s not that I haven’t needed one but that I have not found the right place. A colonic or colon hydrotherapy is where water gently rinses out the colon to remove excess waste. LaLa is the owner and explained every aspect of the process. She really helped me to understand what my body needed. I have had this service at another local spot but did not achieve these results. I left feeling lighter and with more knowledge about what I need to do daily.

The V-Steam is becoming more and more popular. Ladies suffering from menstrual cramps, menopause or even infertility should consider this holistic treatment. It has been known to relieve many women dealing with PMS, fibroids and postpartum as well. Also known as ‘hip bath’ the V-Steam provides oxygenation and relax the pelvic floor muscles.
