Atlanta Falcons Calais Campbell’s Welcome to Atlanta Community Tour
On Friday, June 16, Calais Campbell embarked on his Welcome to Atlanta Community Tour as he continues to settle into his new home. Calais and his wife Rocio visited the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders, Cardiac, and Transplant floors, where he brightened the day for young patients and dedicated staff, providing them with giveaways and autographs.
For the second stop of the tour, Calais visited the local Publix to surprise ten single-mom families with $500 gift cards to Publix, a gesture that undoubtedly lightened their financial burdens allowing them to purchase essential groceries and household items. The store contributed by giving floral arrangements and a reusable Publix bag filled with additional goods.
Campbell created a memorable experience for these deserving families, who were selected through an Atlanta mental health and family service organization working closely with the Falcons, Chris 180.
