Atlanta Restaurants Gear Up for National Tequila Day on July 24

Atlanta restaurants are crafting the best cocktails around to celebrate National Tequila Day on July 24. Tequila always makes the day (and night) more fun, so we’ve rounded up some of our favorite tequila drinks in the Atlanta area.

Tin Lizzy’s Cantina spreads the fun over the whole weekend with a $9 Pick Your Kick spicy margarita special from July 22-24, and Chido & Padre’s hosts a National Tequila Day fiesta with a DJ and tequila tasting station with high-end off-the-menu Herradura Ultra features on July 24.

• Carson Kitchen Alpharetta Get Shorty! – Blanco tequila, grapefruit, fresh lime, and cayenne simple syrup

• Chido & Padre’s Buckhead National Tequila Day fiesta with a tequila tasting station – On National Tequila Day, Chido & Padre’s is hosting a National Tequila Day fiesta featuring a tequila tasting station and DJ. Starting at 5 p.m., bartenders will prepare a selection of high-end off-the-menu Herradura Ultra features.

• Cowboy Chicken McDonough Jalapeño lemonade – Sweet with a spicy kick, this seasonal offering pairs perfectly with tequila.

• HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern Multiple Locations Original, pomegranate, peach and skinny margaritas – available in a 12-ounce glass or in a 52-ounce fishbowl for sharing.

• Johnny’s Hideaway Buckhead Margarita – Tequila, triple sec, and lime juice (or sour mix) served in a salt-rimmed glass and garnished with fresh lime

• Marlow’s Tavern Multiple Locations Coconut and basil margarita – Herradura Silver, lime, Cathead Bitter Orange, agave, Reàl Coconut, and basil leaves
