Family-Owned Restaurant Announces Its Izzy’s European Ice Kréme Frozen Treat Specials for July

ATLANTA — With National Ice Cream Day around the corner, Grecian Gyro invites the community to

join them in July to celebrate with some sweet Izzy’s European Ice Kréme specials including a limited-

release anniversary flavor and an Ice Kréme Social Happy Hour!

Starting Monday, July 11th through Saturday, July 16th, customers can drop by Grecian Gyro's Tucker

and Midtown restaurants for an Ice Kréme Social each day from 3-6 p.m. featuring buy one, get on free

on all Izzy’s frozen treats. Also, a limited-release 40th-anniversary Strawberry Cookies and Creme

combination featuring Papadopoulos Greek Sandwich Cookies or the “Oreos of Greece,” as we say, will

be available all month long as a frizzy for $3.79 or as a sundae for $5.49. These crisp sandwich cookies

with a subtly-sweet and satisfying strawberry filling on the inside are a one-of-a-kind item straight from

Greece. When paired with the refreshing and flavorful Izzy’s soft serve, it’s sure to be a hit for everyone,

especially the kids!

Known for its Baklava Nutella flavor, Izzy’s has become a hidden gem in the city for unique soft serve

combinations. Founded in 2019 by Atlanta staple Grecian Gyro, Izzy's European Ice Kréme offers a Euro

flair to the traditional soft serve featuring creamy Ice Kréme and Greek FroYo made with Oikos Greek

Yogurt. This hidden gem exudes happiness and fun through every one of their handcrafted creations.

Guests can enjoy their frozen treat in a cone, cup, as a frizzy, float or shake, with a choice from a variety

of classic toppings and mix-ins including Oreos or fresh fruit along with authentic European favorites

such as baklava, Nutella, sour cherry preserves and Chocofreta. Izzy’s is within Grecian Gyro's Tucker

and Midtown locations. Monday – Saturday 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Sunday - closed.

Grecian Gyro is a family-owned, fast-casual restaurant founded by owner Nick Koulouris in 1982. With

$50 in his pocket, a dream in his heart and his secret sauce recipe locked tightly in his head, Nick opened

his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia, with the goal of delivering the best gyros and Grecian fare
