RELEASE: Couture Milkshakes Take Milkshake Making to Fashionable Heights!

New York, NY - Legendary restaurant, Serendipity 3, the home of food, fashion and fun for almost 65 years, presents their highly stylish line of milkshakes, called Couture Milkshakes.

Serendipity 3, has been at the forefront of fashion starting with founder, Stephen Bruce, and his hat and dress designs from the 1950’s to his denim fashions of the 1960’s and 70’s some of which are part of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Bruce has dressed the stars ranging from Marilyn Monroe to Cher, all who were and some still are, loyal patrons of the restaurant.

The food and desserts at Serendipity 3 have always been in the spotlight, including the infamous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate – a secret blend of 14 cocoas served frozen and topped with homemade whipped cream and shaved chocolate. Serendipity’s trendy past and foray into fashionable food culminates with the premiere of their newest designing dish – the Couture Milkshake.

These highly fashionable shakes are custom-made – couture – using the finest ingredients and the most du jour elements. The first flavor in this line of couture milkshakes is Lavender/Wild Blueberry with Violet Petals. It begins with a base of Tahitian vanilla ice cream infused with French lavender flowers, wild blueberries and served in a violet sugar rimmed milkshake glass and topped with homemade whipped cream flavored with Madagascar vanilla beans, simple syrup and a touch of cinnamon, and sprinkled with candied violet petals and topped with a French lavender flower.

New flavors will be added to the Couture Line on a regular basis including Blood Orange with Candied Rose Petals, Prickly Pear with Candied Ginger and Sweet Hibiscus with edible flowers.
